Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers good quality rooms that are well laid out and spotless with plenty to choose from in the restaurant, facing the port. However, the rooms can get too hot and stuffy at times.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with lovely views. The staff is very friendly and helpful, although some noise issues were noted. The dining experience was a mix of good and not so appealing dishes. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall. The rooms were spacious, but the lack of proper servicing was a letdown, with minimal supplies like toilet paper. The room desperately needed air conditioning as it was uncomfortably hot and stuffy. Unfortunately, there was no guest information booklet available, which would have been useful.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were comfortable but quite a long walk from the main areas, and it was unexpectedly warm due to the lack of available air conditioning. The staff had their moments of friendliness but also seemed disinterested at times. The location was bright and airy, but some areas were in need of refurbishment. The dining experience was a mix of delicious food and some disappointing aspects. Overall, there were positive and negative aspects to consider when staying at this hotel.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were adequately spacious with a double and single bed, but it got very warm during the night and the mattress was not very comfortable. Additionally, the lighting in the wardrobe area and to get changed was very poor. The service was different from the norm and seemed a bit slack; I had to ask multiple times for various requests at dinner. The location is good, being 10 minutes away from the city center, but far away from the center to be worth the money. The dining was OK, basic enough, but the daily fresh fish was a highlight. The overall value for the money was questionable.
The hotel was nice, but the rooms had only an overhead shower flow with no hand shower hose. Despite booking for 3 adults and a toddler, the back room I stayed in (room 229) had minimal noise, though I would've probably slept better at the Cork airport runway!
